Whilst Christina Aguilera set pulses racing back in 2002 with her iconic – and very sexy – Dirrty outfit, she's since overhauled her aesthetic, opting for a more Old Hollywood Glam and gorgeous gowns approach to fashion. But this weekend she channeled the spirit of Dirrty once more, taking to the stage at Los Angeles Pride wearing a strap-on dildo. Yep, summer's must-have fashion accessory could well be a sex toy.
Coming out on stage at the Pride event – which celebrated the LGBTQ+ community – Christina somewhat cosplayed as The Incredible Hulk, wearing a green, structured chestplate with some serious muscle definition, paired with a strap-on dildo (encrusted in diamonds), along with fishnet tights, thigh-high PVC boots and latex gloves.
To complete the look, the noughties icon pulled her crimped, platinum blonde hair into a high pony and finished things off with a pair of bedazzled sunglasses... although, we're not actually sure how she could see anything through the heavily glittered lenses.
During her Pride performance, Christina shared the stage with a number of other high-profile celebrities – including Paris Hilton – and shared a powerful video montage criticising Florida's Parental Rights in Education law, which has been dubbed the "Don't Say Gay" bill.
Taking to social media after the event, the singer penned an emotional message to fans and the LGBTQ+ community. "Pride is the biggest representation of freedom and self expression," she told her 8.3 million Instagram followers. "It means living your best life out loud, unafraid, fearless. These are all things that truly mean the world to me and have always been a part of my message and my music."
She went on: "I’m so grateful and honoured to have had the love and support of the LGBTQIA+ community for 20+ years, and to have been able to share these moments and live out some of my fantasies with them."
